Getting started with REDFIN

1. Downloading the REDFIN software

Did you know that you are only 5 minutes away from analyzing your 2D gels using Ludesi's image analysis solutions? That's because all you need to get started is the REDFIN software, which you can download at any time from our website.

Downloading REDFIN and creating your personal account is completely free. Payment is only required when you decide to go ahead with an analysis and are requested to purchase analysis credits according to our pricing.

On our download page just click on the big orange Download button and run the LudesiRedfin3Setup.exe file when ready.

2. Creating your account

Once REDFIN is installed on your computer the log-in window will appear. If it does not start automatically, go to:

Start > All Programs > Ludesi AB > Ludesi REDFIN 3.

If you already have a REDFIN account, enter your username and password and login. If you don't have an account click on the "I am a new user" link and create your personal and secure account.

3. Creating a new analysis project

Once logged in, you will be taken to the REDFIN start page. Click on the image below for a visual description of the interface.

[1] Create a new analysis project

[2] See which projects are currently in analysis

[3] Access the results of completed analysis projects as well as project specific actions

[4] Click on the overview icon for a "map" of the REDFIN software

[5] Purchase analysis credits or use a value code

[6] Access account information

To start analyzing your 2D gel images you:

[1] Give the analysis a name

[2] Choose the Solo option to analyze the gels yourself, or

[3] Choose to have the gels analyzed for you at the Ludesi Analysis Center
