Read below for Dr. Smith's answers to our seven customer profile questions:

How would you describe the overall goal of your research?

To determine the mechanism of action of potential novel antipsychotics.

What is your goal specifically for your 2D gel based research?

To determine the change(s) in protien expression and phosphorylation in the brains of animals treated with potential antipsychotics as compared to those animals treated with known antipsychotics.

What type of samples are you primarily working with?

Mouse brain membrane proteins

What have you achieved by using 2D gels?

I have identified numerous proteins which are differentially expressed or phosphorylated in response to specific compounds.

What type of Ludesi analysis do you primarily use (REDFIN Solo, Basic, or Pro)?

REDFIN Solo

What made you choose Ludesi's analysis solutions?

It has been used before by members of our lab with success.

How does using the analysis service help you in your work?

It makes identifying identical spots on a gel very easy and allows for an easy comparison of all nine of my gels/experiment.
