Ludesi Awarded by Panel of International Venture Capitalists and Corporate Investors Based on Overall Growth Potential.
Boston, MA, November 1, 2008 – Ludesi Corporation, developer of the award-winning Ludesi REDFIN software for 2-dimensional electrophoresis gels, today announced it was selected as one of the 10 most promising Nordic-based start-ups in high-tech sectors during the Nordic Venture Forum in Copenhagen 20 October. The selection was made with regard to overall growth potential, as judged by active international venture capitalists and corporate investors

“We are obviously very proud of this nomination as it is an acknowledgment of Ludesi’s potential. We have made innovations to both technology and business model in our sector and the potential for growth and market dominance within a few years is very high. We are proud of this award and we are excited about the opportunities ahead.” commented Ludesi’s CEO Ola Forsstrom-Olsson.

Earlier this year Europe Unlimited announced the 50 most promising Nordic-based start-up companies in life science, clean technology and information and communications technology. The companies had been identified using a mix of quantitative and qualitative evaluations with active venture capitalists from across Europe providing direct input.

From the hundreds of applicants and nominations that were taken into consideration, only the 50 best companies showcased their innovative business to Europe’s investment community at the Nordic Venture Forum in Copenhagen. From these 50, the 10 most promising were selected.
