Is there a limit on how many comparisons I can set up between my groups?
No, there is no such limit. You can create as many different groupings with your gels as you wish and you can set up as many different comparisons between those groups as you find useful.
It is also possible to go an change the groups or comparisons at any time after you have completed the image analysis by clicking on the "Manage comparisons" button in the REDFIN results view.
So, if for example, you notice that one gel is behaving like a strong outlier, you can simply temporarily remove it from the group in order to see how it affects the results. All statistics are re-calculated on the fly, giving you the possibility to explore your data in the most flexible way.
