Ludesi CEO Lectures on Improving Discovery Potential in 2D Gel Image Analysis at NIH BIO-TRAC Training Courses 

Boston, MA – April 2, 2008 –  Ludesi, provider of the industry-leading Image Analysis Service for 2-dimensional electrophoresis gels, today announced that its founder and CEO Ola Forsstrom-Olsson lectured this week at the BIO-TRAC Biotechnology Training Courses at the National Institutes of Health. Mr. Forsstrom-Olsson presented information on the subject of “Improving the discovery potential in 2D gel image analysis by introducing and applying image analysis quality metrics” during TRAC 25: Proteomics: Principles and Methods. Mr. Forsstrom-Olsson is a frequent speaker at NIH BIOTRAC courses and at other medical industry events and symposiums. His presentations include latest results from the industry’s largest real-world studies of 2D gel electrophoresis experiments.
 
Among all the proteomics technologies, 2-D gel electrophoresis is by far the most commonly used technique for protein separation.
