Ludesi Co-Sponsoring Major Proteomics Meeting
Lund, Sweden - August 31, 2006 -- Ludesi AB, a global provider of bioinformatics solutions to the life science industry, is co-sponsoring the 7th Siena Meeting, a conference presenting cutting-edge proteomics research. The 7th Siena Meeting is being held in Siena, Italy, Sept 3-7, 2006 and is one of the biggest and most influential proteomics meetings this year, gathering life science researchers from all over the world.
The event will bring together researchers from academic, governmental and industry organizations to present and discuss the most significant discoveries in proteomics. The study of the proteome is of vital importance because most diseases are discovered at the level of protein activity. Knowing the characteristics and shape of key proteins will speed up the identification of new drug targets that can be used to diagnose and treat diseases.
