Last week we occasionally experienced slow connections and access problems to our servers.
We have just verified that it was one of our service providers that was being attacked from the internet (a little more than usual, attacks happen all the time). Luckily our rock solid providers have great experience in hosting and managed to get on top of things without any larger interruptions, and traffic is now flowing as usual.
For the interested: it was our DNS system that had problems, i.e. the place your browser goes to translate www.ludesi.com to an IP address – the addressing system of the internet.
But, just like our 2D gel analysis service, you don’t have to know the details – we take care of that for you! : )
