Enjoy a colorful Christmas!

As always, we have been working hard to make our award-winning REDFIN software even better and more powerful for finding protein expression changes, and this time our focus has been on enhanced visualization tools. Today we are happy to announce:

• Smooth contrast adjustment of your images
• Color Mode for a superior visualization experience

The new version of Ludesi REDFIN takes advantage of the most cutting-edge image visualization capabilities included in the newest Microsoft .NET 3.5 Framework.

So next time you start REDFIN, be aware that it will require you to upgrade your version of the Microsoft .NET framework, in order to provide you with these new features. But don’t worry, there will be clear instructions on how to do this.

Easily adjust the contrast of your images

If you feel that your 2D gel images are either too dark or too light, you can now easily adjust the contrast using the Contrast Slider.

Superior visualization with Color Mode

Sometimes it is difficult to make out the exact shape of a spot even after contrast adjustment. With Color Mode you now have an additional dimension of visualization available that can make even faint or very intense spots clearer.

Simply check the box where it says “Show in color” to switch to Color Mode.

Color Mode is not only an attractive way of visualizing your protein expression changes, it can also help you identify certain hard-to-see spots:
